TENCEL TM fibers orginiate from trees - primarily birch, beech, spruce and eucalyptus. TENCEL TM is produced with an environmentally responsible process from substainably sourced natural raw wood fibers. TENCEL TM uses less toxic chemicals that are impressively 99% recycled in the production process. TENCEL TM is also biodegradeable. TENCEL TM uses 40% less non-renewable energy than cotton. TENCEL TM requires a lot less dye than cotton. It is pure white when produced so no bleaching is necessary. TENCEL TM has a beautiful sheen, drapes effortlessly and is wrinkle-resistant.
